    Introduction About ZYTEE RB GEL

    Zytee RB Gel is an analgesic medicine used to relieve pain in condition such as mouth ulcers, teething or irritation associated with dentures and dental braces. It contains Choline Salicylate and Benzalkonium Chloride as active ingredients which inhibits the pain causing mechanism in the body.

    Choline salicylate is an anti-inflammatory pain reliever which acts by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins which causes pain, in the area it is applied to. Benzalkonium chloride has antimicrobial activity which inhibits the growth of bacteria. Thus, relieving pain and managing secondary infections.

    Always use Zytee RB Gel as recommended by your dentist. It is for local application only. Do not swallow or exceed the daily recommended dosage. Squeeze the required amount of gel on the tip of the index finger and rub gently onto the affected areas. Zytee RB Gel is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Consult with your dentist/physician if you notice any side effects while using it.

    Safety Advice

    Q: Can Zytee RB Gel be swallowed?

    A:  Zytee RB gel is meant for topical/local application only. You should not swallow the gel. If it happens accidentally, ask for your physician/dentist’s advice immediately.

    Q: Can I eat immediately after using Zytee RB Gel?

    A: Avoid eating or drinking anything for 15-30 minutes after the application of Zytee RB Gel. Eating or drinking immediately may wash off the medication from the surface and you may not get the desired results.

    Q: Is it safe for children to use Zytee RB Gel?

    A: It is not recommended to be used in children below 12 years of age. You must ask for the advice of your child’s dentist or physician before using this gel in them.

    Q: After how much time after using Zytee RB Gel can I wear dentures?

    A: It is recommended to avoid wearing dentures till the pain and irritation persists. However, you should wait for 30 minutes to re-wear your dentures to allow the gel to show its effects completely.

    Q: Does Zytee RB Gel provides protection against bacterial infection of the mouth?

    A: Zytee RB Gel has Benzalkonium Chloride which has antibacterial properties which kills the bacteria present on the affected sites. It manages secondary infections, thus aiding in faster healing of ulcers.
