Introduction About ZITCARE FOAM WASH
ZITCARE FOAM WASH contains Salicylic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Keratolytic agents. ZITCARE FOAM WASH is used as a daily cleansing routine to manage acne.
ZITCARE FOAM WASH is also used to manage oily skin in affected individuals.
ZITCARE FOAM WASH is not recommended for use in patients allergic to salicylic acid. It is also not recommended for use in patients recovering from chicken pox and in patients who had received varicella vaccine (for atleast 6 weeks).
ZITCARE FOAM WASH is generally not recommended for use in pregnant women. It is also not recommended for use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through breastfed milk.
ZITCARE FOAM WASH is not recommended for use in children (aged below 2 years) and should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 60 years) after consulting the doctor.
The most common side-effects associated with the use of ZITCARE FOAM WASH are dryness, skin irritation, and/or scaling of skin. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsens.

How ZITCARE FOAM WASH Works
ZITCARE FOAM WASH works by penetrating the affected area of skin and causing destruction to the bacteria which also reduces oil production in the skin thus managing and managing the occurrence of skin conditions such as acne and oily skin in affected individuals.
How to use ZITCARE FOAM WASH
Always apply ZITCARE FOAM WASH as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Wet your face and take required quantity of foam. Gently, massage the foam all over the wet face for 20-30 seconds avoiding eyes and surrounding areas. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry your face. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.

How To Manage Side Effects
Dry Skin:
Try moisturizing your skin with an ointment, cream, or lotion 2 or 3 times a day, or as often as needed. Moisturizers help to keep the area moisture, so they work best on damp skin. After you bathe, pat your skin dry then apply your moisturizer. Try to avoid using skin care products and soaps that contain alcohol, fragrances, dyes, or other chemicals.

Pregnancy
ZITCARE FOAM WASH is not recommended for use in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before using ZITCARE FOAM WASH.

Breastfeeding
ZITCARE FOAM WASH is not recommended use in breastfeeding women as it may pass through milk. Consult your doctor before using ZITCARE FOAM WASH.

Allergy
Do not use ZITCARE FOAM WASH if you are allergic to salicylic acid, and/or any other ingredients of this medicine.
Others
ZITCARE FOAM WASH is not recommended for use if you:
- are recovering from chicken pox/receiving varicella vaccine (for atleast 6 weeks)

Interactions
A. Drug-Drug interactions:
Before taking ZITCARE FOAM WASH, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine
- abrasive soap/cleansers (aids in removing grease and other heavy dirt from the skin)
- medicines containing alcohol, benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, sulphur
- topical retinoids (used to manage acne)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else applies too much of ZITCARE FOAM WASH or accidentally swallowed the medicine, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital to manage the overdose symptoms.
