Introduction About ZINCOFER XT TABLET
Zincofer-XT Tablet is a nutritional supplement used to manage pregnancy-induced anemia (lack of red blood cells). It contains ferrous ascorbate, folic acid and zinc as active ingredients that improves foetal growth and develops immune system ensuring no maternal complication and a healthy baby.
Ferrous ascorbate is an integral part of many proteins and enzymes that maintain good health. Folic acid is essential for cell division and growth. Zinc is vital for many functions, including growth and neurobehavioral development, immune and sensory function.
Take Zincofer-XT Tablet as advised by your doctor. It should be used with caution in patients with peptic ulcer, regional enteritis (inflammation of GIT), and ulcerative colitis.
Zincofer-XT Tablet is not recommended for use in patients having hemosiderosis (overload of iron in the organs or tissues), hemochromatosis (absorption of too much iron from the food you eat), and haemolytic anemia (low number of red blood cells due to too much haem breakdown in the body).
