Introduction About WARZINC SYRUP
Warzinc Syrup is a nutritional supplement used in children to manage acute and persistent diarrhea, respiratory tract infections, common cold and Wilson’s disease (a rare inherited disorder that leads to accumulation of copper in vital organs like liver, brain). It is also used to boost overall immunity of children. It contains zinc acetate as active ingredient.
Zinc helps to improve immunity and fights against various infections. Zinc enhances the absorption of water and electrolytes, thus managing dehydration associated with diarrhea. In Wilson’s disease zinc inhibits the absorption of dietary copper by inducing the synthesis of a protein called metallothionein, which binds to the dietary copper and forms a complex which is excreted in stools.
Always give Warzinc Syrup to your child as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Shake well before use. It should be taken between meals but if stomach upset occurs, Warzinc Syrup can be taken with food.
