Introduction About VOGLI RAPID M 0.5MG TABLET

VOGLI RAPID M 0.5MG TABLET is a combination of Metformin, Repaglinide and Voglibose which belongs to a group of medicines called Antidiabetic agents. It is used to lower blood sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus whose blood sugar levels cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone (monotherapy). Along management with VOGLI RAPID M 0.5MG TABLET follow regular exercise and diet plan as advised by the doctor to achieve better results.

Metformin is a biguanide derivative producing an antihyperglycemic effect has no effects on the pancreatic beta cells. The mode of action of metformin is not fully understood. It has been postulated that metformin might potentiate the effect of insulin or that it might enhance the effect of insulin on the peripheral receptor site. This increased sensitivity seems to follow an increase in the number of insulin receptors on cell surface membranes. Repaglinide helps the body release more insulin when your blood sugar is high. This helps improve your blood sugar control. Voglibose competitively and reversibly inhibits the alpha glucosidase enzymes in the brush border of the small intestine.

VOGLI RAPID M 0.5MG TABLET is not recommended if you have unstable and/or insulin-dependent (Type I) diabetes mellitus, metabolic acidosis, a history of lactic acidosis, stressed, have a severe infection or are experiencing trauma and gastrointestinal obstruction. Before taking inform your doctor if you are scheduled for surgery, x-ray or scanning procedures and vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency. VOGLI RAPID M 0.5MG TABLET is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Safety and effectiveness of VOGLI RAPID M 0.5MG TABLET in children and adolescents have not been established.
