Direction for Use/Dosage
Clean & Dry Hair: Ensure the client’s hair is clean, dry, and free from any styling products.
Detangle the Hair: Gently comb through the hair to remove any tangles. This ensures an even crimping process.
Adjust the Temperature: Set the crimper to the appropriate temperature based on the client's hair type and styling requirement.
Allow to Fully Heat: Wait for the crimper to fully heat up before starting.
Divide Hair into Sections: For a more controlled crimping process, divide the hair into small sections. Use section clips to keep the sections in place. The smaller the section, the more defined the crimp will be.
Work with One Section at a Time: Start with the bottom layers of the hair and work your way up. This helps maintain volume and structure.
Clamp and Hold: Take a small section of hair and place it between the plates of the crimper. Make sure the section is positioned evenly, ensuring uniform crimps.
Crimp and Release: Press the crimper down firmly on the section of hair. Hold it in place for about 5-10 seconds, depending on the hair’s thickness and heat setting. Then, release the crimper and move to the next section.
Repeat the Process: Continue working through the sections of hair, crimping each small section till all sections are crimped.
Turn Off and Let Cool: After use, make sure to turn off the crimper and let it cool completely before cleaning.
Wipe the Plates: Clean the plates with a damp cloth to remove any buildup.
