    Introduction About URISPAS TABLET

URISPAS TABLET is used to manage muscle spasms in the urinary tract. It can also be used to relieve the unpleasant urinary symptoms (such as excessive or painful urination or urinary incontinence) associated with any surgical or diagnostic procedures (such as cystoscopy or catheterization). It contains Flavoxate, which belongs to the group of medicines called Urinary Antispasmodics, which relaxes the muscles surrounding the bladder. This helps in reducing bladder contraction in patients with bladder inflammation, which, therefore, reduces the pain and spasms associated with it.

Take URISPAS TABLET, preferably after meals or as directed by the physician. Prior to the management, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your existing condition.

Before taking URISPAS TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any stomach or kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have any bleeding in the digestive tract, glaucoma, or myasthenia gravis (severe muscle weakness) as a precaution.

URISPAS TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with urinary retention (unable to empty the bladder completely). It is also not suitable for use with children under the age of 12. Inform your doctor before taking URISPAS TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The most common side effects of taking URISPAS TABLET are nausea, vomiting, and stomach upset. These side effects can be reduced if URISPAS TABLET is taken with meals. However, consult your doctor if they trouble you.
