Introduction About UDZIRE 100MG TABLET
UDZIRE 100MG TABLET contains Udenafil, which belongs to the group of medicines called Phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It is used in adult men to improve blood flow to the penis.
UDZIRE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver or kidney disease, low or uncontrolled high blood pressure, severe heart disease, or stroke. Consult your doctor before taking it.
UDZIRE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women or in children under 18 years of age, and UDZIRE 100MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients above 65 years of age. Contact your doctor before taking it.
The most common side effects of taking UDZIRE 100MG TABLET are flushing and headache. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen.

How UDZIRE 100MG TABLET Works
UDZIRE 100MG TABLET blocks the phosphodiesterase enzyme in the body and releases a chemical called nitric oxide, which helps to relax the smooth muscles and blood vessels supplying the inner part of the penis. This increases the supply of blood to the penis.
How to use UDZIRE 100MG TABLET
Always take UDZIRE 100MG TABLET as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water, and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration, and frequency for you depending on your age, body weight, and other comorbid conditions, etc.

- sign of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), such as sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
- sudden hearing loss or deafness, which may be accompanied by tinnitus and dizziness, in one or both ears

Headache
Rest and relax. Drink plenty of fluids, such as water or ORS (Oral Rehydrating Solution) and apply a pain-relieving balm to the head if necessary. Contact your doctor if your headache does not improve.

Alcohol

Kidney

Allergy

Heart Disease

UDZIRE 100MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with aortic stenosis (narrowing of a blood vessel in the heart) and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (thickening of heart muscle). Consult your doctor before taking it.
Use In Pediatrics
ContraindicatedUDZIRE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Use In Geriatrics
Use with CautionUDZIRE 100MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients over 65 years of age. Contact your doctor before taking it.
Others
UDZIRE 100MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you:
- recently had a stroke
- have non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (decreased blood supply to the eye)
- have eye disorders such as retinitis pigmentosa
- have genetic problems such as galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption
Before taking UDZIRE 100MG TABLET, inform your physician if you:
- have an anatomical deformation of the penis (such as angulation, cavernosal fibrosis, or Peyronie's disease)
- have sickle cell anemia (red blood cell disorder)
- have multiple myeloma or leukemia (a type of blood cancer)
Interactions
A. Drug-Drug interactions:
Before taking UDZIRE 100MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- ketoconazole and itraconazole (used to manage fungal infections)
- ritonavir and indinavir (used to manage viral infections)
- erythromycin (used to manage bacterial infections)
- cimetidine (used to manage stomach ulcers)
- carbamazepine, phenytoin, and phenobarbital (used to manage fits or seizures)
- nitroglycerine (used to manage heart disease)
- captopril and enalapril (used to manage high blood pressure)
- dexamethasone (used to manage inflammatory conditions)
- rifampin (used to manage tuberculosis)
- riociguat (used to manage pulmonary hypertension)
- glyceryl trinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, sodium nitroprusside, amyl nitrite, and nicorandil (used to manage chest pain and high blood pressure)
- tamsulosin (used to manage benign prostate hyperplasia)
B. Drug-Food interaction:
Avoid consuming grapefruit juice while taking UDZIRE 100MG TABLET. Consult your doctor for advice.
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally took more of UDZIRE 100MG TABLET, contact your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital immediately if the symptoms worsen. Symptoms of an overdose include headache and flushing.
