Description
The Tuoren Endotracheal Tube is a medical device designed for airway management during surgical operations and for patients requiring mechanical ventilation. Made from medical-grade, thermosensitive PVC, this cuffed tube is designed to establish a secure airway. The high-volume, low-pressure cuff helps to create a seal within the trachea, reducing the risk of air leakage and aspiration. It is a sterile, single-use device intended for use by trained medical professionals.
Medical-Grade PVC: Constructed from non-toxic, transparent, and kink-resistant medical-grade PVC to protect delicate mucosal tissue.
High-Volume, Low-Pressure Cuff: Features a soft, thin-walled cuff that ensures a secure seal with less pressure on the airway, minimizing trauma during intubation and extubation.
Radiopaque Line: A line for X-ray visualization runs the length of the tube, aiding in the precise assessment of its location after placement.
Atraumatic Tip and Murphy Eye: A smooth, rounded tip and a Murphy eye are designed to reduce trauma during insertion and help prevent respiratory obstruction.
DEHP-Free Material: Manufactured without DEHP, contributing to higher biosafety for the patient.
Q: What is a cuffed endotracheal tube used for?
A: A cuffed endotracheal tube is a medical device used to maintain a clear airway for breathing, often during surgical procedures under general anesthesia or in critical care settings to assist with ventilation.
Q: What does the 'cuffed' feature mean?
A: The 'cuff' is an inflatable balloon at the end of the tube that, when filled with air, creates a seal against the tracheal wall. This seal helps direct airflow into the lungs, prevents air leaks, and reduces the risk of stomach contents entering the lungs.
Q: What is a high-volume, low-pressure cuff?
A: This type of cuff is designed to create an adequate seal with a larger volume of air at a lower pressure. This design helps to minimize pressure on the tracheal wall, reducing the risk of tissue injury.
Q: What is the purpose of the radiopaque line?
A: The radiopaque line runs through the length of the tube, allowing it to be visible on an X-ray. This helps healthcare professionals confirm the correct placement of the tube within the trachea.
Q: Is this product intended for single use?
A: Endotracheal tubes are typically sterile, single-use devices to prevent cross-contamination and ensure patient safety. It is advisable to consult the product packaging and a healthcare professional for specific usage instructions.

Key Benefits
Facilitates mechanical ventilation by providing a secure and unobstructed pathway for breathing in patients who cannot breathe on their own.
Designed to reduce the risk of airway trauma due to its soft, thermosensitive material and atraumatic, rounded tip.
The high-volume, low-pressure cuff creates an effective seal, which helps in optimizing ventilation and reducing the risk of aspiration.
Allows for clear visualization under X-ray because of a radiopaque line, ensuring accurate placement within the trachea.
Constructed from DEHP-free materials for enhanced patient biosafety.

Direction for Use/Dosage
To be used only by trained medical professionals. Select the appropriate tube size. Before use, test the integrity of the cuff by inflating it with a syringe and then deflating it. Lubricate the distal end of the tube. Insert the tube via the mouth or nose into the trachea. Once in position, inflate the cuff to create a seal. Connect the standard 15mm connector at the proximal end to the ventilation system.

Safety Information/Precaution
For single use only. Do not use if the sterile packaging is opened or damaged. The insertion of the endotracheal tube must be performed exclusively by personnel trained in resuscitation and airway management. It is recommended to consult a healthcare professional before use. Avoid storage at extreme temperatures and humidity levels.
