Introduction About TUGAIN 2% SOLUTION
Tugain 2% Solution is a scalp solution used to manage androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness) in men. It contains Minoxidil as an active ingredient which stimulates hair growth in early and moderate stages of androgenic alopecia.
Minoxidil is a vasodilating agent which works by increasing follicular size of hair and improves local microcirculation through vasodilator effect thus managing premature shedding of hair and promoting hair regrowth in affected individuals.
Use Tugain 2% Solution as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. For application with dropper, squeeze the rubber bulb and fill the dropper up to 1 ml mark and pour the solution onto the area where hair is thin and spread it evenly with fingertips. For application with spray, screw on spray applicator on to the bottle and aim the applicator towards area where hair is thin and press pump to release 0.2ml of solution. Spread the solution with fingertips to cover all of hair loss area and repeat the process for a total of 5 times to achieve a dose of 1ml approx. Always apply this solution when the scalp is dry and clean. Apply 1ml of solution twice daily at 12-hour intervals to the scalp with a total application dose not exceeding 2ml dosage for a period of not less than 45 days. Avoid using hair dryer or hair oil after application. Pregnant, breastfeeding women and children are advised not to use this solution since this medicine is intended to be used only in men.

Tugain 2% Solution may cause headache, allergic reactions (associated with symptoms such as swelling of face, generalized redness, and/or throat tightness), itching, rash, dermatitis (skin inflammation), weight gain, dizziness, difficulty in breathing, dry skin, acne, and/or changes in hair texture/colour at the site of application in some individuals. Consult your doctor if you notice any such side effects while using Tugain 2% Solution.
