Introduction About TRUFOL TABLET
Trufol Tablet is vitamin supplement used to manage anemia. It can also be used in pregnant women to correct anemia and to manage neural tube defects (birth defects of brain and spinal cord) in the growing baby. It contains L-Methylfolate as an active ingredient.
L-Methylfolate is a biologically active form of folic acid. Folic acid is a vitamin essential for producing red blood cells and for maintaining a healthy nervous system. It also manages damage to brain cells and nerves and are highly preferable in women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, in order to reduce the risk of birth defects in the foetus.
Take Trufol Tablet as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine.
Do not take Trufol Tablet if you are allergic to L-Methylfolate or folic acid. Before taking Trufol Tablet, inform your doctor if you are undergoing dialysis or recently received cardiac stent transplant. You must also inform your doctor if you have vitamin B12 deficiency or any tumours as a precaution.
