Introduction About TOREX ACTION TABLET
TOREX ACTION TABLET is used to relieve flu and cold symptoms, headache, body ache, extreme weakness, watery eyes, fever, cough, sore throat, sneezing, runny, and congested nose. It contains a combination of Caffeine, Diphenhydramine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine which belongs to the group of medicines called CNS Stimulants, Antihistamines, Analgesics-Antipyretics, and Nasal Decongestants respectively.
TOREX ACTION TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents (aged less than 12 years). Before taking TOREX ACTION TABLET, inform your doctor if you have any heart, kidney, liver, heart, thyroid, prostrate, or breathing problems, or if you are taking any medicines for depression.
TOREX ACTION TABLET is not recommended for use in pregnancy. TOREX ACTION TABLET should be used with caution in breastfeeding women, so consult your doctor before taking it. The most common side effects of taking TOREX ACTION TABLET are nausea, vomiting, headache, sleep problems, sleepiness, restlessness, dizziness. Contact your doctor if any of the above side effects worsen.

How TOREX ACTION TABLET Works
TOREX ACTION TABLET relieves cold and flu symptoms where Paracetamol inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for causing pain and fever, diphenhydramine relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, and runny nose, Phenylephrine narrows the small blood vessels and relieves congestion and stuffy nose, and caffeine enhances the action of paracetamol and decreases drowsiness caused by diphenhydramine.
How to use TOREX ACTION TABLET
Take TOREX ACTION TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of TOREX ACTION TABLET for you according to your age, body weight and disease condition.
Side Effects Of TOREX ACTION TABLET
Common
- Nausea

- Restlessness
Stop taking TOREX ACTION TABLET and contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects:
- Tiredness, drowsiness, reduced attention, unsteadiness, dry mouth
- Allergic reactions (rash, breathlessness, swelling)
- Blurred vision
- Throbbing sensation, irregular heartbeat
- Muscle twitching, fits, pins and needles sensation
- Thicker bronchial mucus
- Trouble passing urine
- Serious skin reactions like acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP), Steven Johnson syndrome (SJS), and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN)
How To Manage Side Effects
Dizziness Or Drowsiness
Lie down until dizziness is resolved, then get up slowly. Do not hurry and move slowly and carefully. Get adequate rest. Drink plenty of water and other fluids. Avoid coffee, cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs. If dizziness does not improve, consult your doctor.
Headache
Drink ample amount of water. Get adequate rest. Try to be relaxed and stress free. Consult your doctor before taking any medicine for headache. If headache does not improve, contact your doctor.
Nausea And Vomiting
Take TOREX ACTION TABLET with, or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating oily or spicy foods. If nausea does not improve, contact your doctor. Get adequate rest. Drink lots of fluids, especially water. Have small sips if you feel sick. Do not take any medicine for vomiting without your doctor's consultation. If vomiting does not improve, contact your doctor.

Driving and Using Machines
Use with CautionDo not drive or use any machines if you feel dizzy or sleepy or have decreased alertness after taking TOREX ACTION TABLET.
Alcohol
Consult your doctorAvoid consumption of alcohol with TOREX ACTION TABLET. It should be used with caution in chronic alcohol users and patients with alcohol dependence. Consult your doctor for advice.
Kidney
Use with CautionTOREX ACTION TABLET should be used with caution in patients having kidney problems and urinary retention. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Liver
Use with CautionTOREX ACTION TABLET should be used with caution in patients with alcoholic liver disease or other liver problems. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Allergy
ContraindicatedDo not take TOREX ACTION TABLET if you are allergic to Caffeine, Diphenhydramine, Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Lungs
Use with CautionTOREX ACTION TABLET should be used with caution in patients with respiratory conditions like emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or bronchial asthma. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Heart Disease
Consult your doctorTOREX ACTION TABLET is not recommended in patients with serious heart conditions or high blood pressure. TOREX ACTION TABLET should be used with caution in patients with Raynaud’s phenomenon (a blood vessel disease), and other heart or circulation diseases. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Use In Pediatrics

Others
TOREX ACTION TABLET is not recommended for use if you:
- Have an overactive thyroid
- Have an enlarged prostate gland or other prostrate problems
- Have persistent or chronic cough, or cough with excessive secretions
Before taking TOREX ACTION TABLET, inform your doctor if you:
- Have increased pressure inside your eye
- Have diabetes (high blood sugar)

- Antihyperlipidemic drugs (Ex. Cholestyramine)
- Antiemetics and prokinetics drugs (Ex. metoclopramide, domperidone)
- Anticoagulant drugs (Ex. warfarin, psoralen)
- Antihypertensive drugs (Ex. atenolol, methyldopa, trimetaphancamsylate)
- Antidepressants drugs (Ex. amitriptyline, phenelzine)
- Anticholinergic drugs (Ex. atropine)
- Antihistamines drugs (Ex. chlorpheniramine, clemastine)
- Antibiotics (Ex. Flucloxacillin)
B. Drug-Food interaction:
Avoid caffeine-containing medications, food, and beverages like tea and coffee while taking TOREX ACTION TABLET as it may cause shaking, uncomfortable feeling in the chest or difficulty sleeping.
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally took too much of TOREX ACTION TABLET, contact your doctor immediately. Symptoms of overdose are liver damage.
