Introduction About TONOFOLIC DS TABLET
Tonofolic DS Tablet is an iron supplement used to correct iron deficiency anemia and anemia caused due to excessive blood loss. It contains Iron, Folic acid and Cyanocobalamin as the key ingredients.
Iron is an essential micronutrient that gives the red blood cells the reddish brown colour and the capacity to transport oxygen. Cyanocobalamin and Folic acid improve the production of red blood count within the body which helps in reducing tiredness and other signs caused due to anemia.
They can also maintain a healthy nervous system and manage damage to brain cells and nerves. Folic acid is also popularly known to manage birth defects in babies, and so is highly preferred for use in women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
Always take Tonofolic DS Tablet as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosages. Before taking Tonofolic DS Tablet, inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing disease condition. Tonofolic DS Tablet can be used in pregnant and or breastfeeding women. However, consult your doctor for advice before taking it.
