Introduction About TESTOKI 40MG TABLET
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET contains Testosterone which belongs to the group of medicines called Androgens. It is used in adult men to replace testosterone in male hypogonadism (various health problems caused by a deficiency of testosterone). It can also be used in men to manage osteoporosis (a type of bone disease) caused due to very little testosterone.
Male hypogonadism is characterized by symptoms like impotence, infertility, decreased sex drive, tiredness, depressive moods and bone loss due to low hormone levels.
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with known or suspected prostate or breast cancer or who have high amounts of calcium in blood or urine, kidney disease, heart failure. Consult your doctor before taking it.
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with lung cancer, chronic lung disease, liver disease, kidney cancer, high blood pressure, history of heart attack or stroke, blood clotting problems. TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not indicated for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years and it should be used with caution in elderly patients aged above 65 years. The most common side effects of taking TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is weight gain. Contact your doctor if any of the side effects worsen.

It is used in adult men to manage:

How TESTOKI 40MG TABLET Works
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET works by replacing testosterone in adult male patients with hypogonadism (various health problems caused by a lack of testosterone, a natural male hormone). Thus, helps to improve clinical symptoms such as impotence, infertility, low sex drive, tiredness, depressive moods, bone loss caused by low hormone levels.
How to use TESTOKI 40MG TABLET
Take TESTOKI 40MG TABLET as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. It should be taken with food. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition. Do not stop taking TESTOKI 40MG TABLET unless your doctor advises you to stop. Otherwise, your symptoms may reoccur within few weeks.

Pregnancy
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not indicated for use in pregnant women or women planning to have a baby. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Breastfeeding
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not indicated for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Driving and Using Machines
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET has no influence on driving or using machines.

Kidney
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with kidney disease. It should be used with caution patients with kidney cancer. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Liver
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Allergy
Do not take TESTOKI 40MG TABLET if you are allergic to Testosterone, peanut, soya or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Lungs
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET should be used with caution in patients with lung cancer, chronic lung disease. Consult your doctor before taking it.

Heart Disease
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in patients with heart failure or heart disease. It should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure, a history of heart attack. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Others
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use if you:
- have known or suspected prostate or breast cancer
- have high amounts of calcium in blood or urine
Before taking TESTOKI 40MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you:
- have or had blood clotting problems like abnormal blood coagulation that increases the risk of blood clots in blood vessels
- have a risk of developing blood clots (smoking, obesity, cancer, immobility, family history of blood clots in the leg, lung or other organs at a young age)
- have or had stroke
- have fits
- have migraine, headache
- have diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar)
- have breast cancer that has spread to bones
- have prostatic complaints (problems with passing urine)
- have sleep apnea (breathing interruptions during sleep)
- are overweight
- are going to have lab tests (thyroid function tests)
- have allergies
- have swelling of face, hands, feet or lower legs
Use in pediatrics:
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age as safety data have not been established. Consult your doctor before taking it.
It should be used with caution in males with hypogonadism causing delayed puberty. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Use in geriatrics:
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET should be used with caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years due to increased risk of enlargement of prostate gland and prostate cancer. Consult your doctor before taking it.
Interactions
A. Drug - Drug interactions:
Before taking TESTOKI 40MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicine:
- medicines used to manage fits (Ex. phenytoin, primidone)
- medicines used to manage pain or inflammation (Ex. phenylbutazone)
- medicines used to manage blood from clotting (Ex. warfarin, acenocoumarol)
- medicines used to manage diabetes (Ex. insulin, metformin, glimepiride)
- corticosteroids (medicines used to manage rheumatism, arthritis, allergic conditions and asthma) Ex. hydrocortisone, dexamethasone
- propranolol (used to heart problems)
- cyclosporine (used to manage rejection of organ transplant)
- St. John’s Wort (an herbal medicine used to manage depression)
Overdosage:
If you or anyone else accidentally take too much of TESTOKI 40MG TABLET, consult your doctor immediately or visit the nearby hospital. Symptoms of overdose might include diarrhoea.

Can I take TESTOKI 40MG TABLET for sexual dysfunction?
No. You should not take TESTOKI 40MG TABLET for sexual dysfunction, male infertility, to improve body composition, bone and muscle mass, to increase lean body mass and decrease total fat mass, to reduce weight or improve athletic performance or for any other indications other than prescribed for. If you have any more doubts regarding the use of this medicine, ask your doctor.
Can TESTOKI 40MG TABLET cause dependence?
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. TESTOKI 40MG TABLET abuse occurs, especially when taken too much, alone or with other anabolic androgenic steroids and can cause serious issues with your heart, blood vessels, liver or mental health. Patients who have abused testosterone may become dependent and may experience withdrawal symptoms when the dose is changed or is stopped suddenly. You should not abuse TESTOKI 40MG TABLET alone or with other anabolic androgenic steroids as it can cause serious health problems. Consult your doctor if you think you are getting dependent on it.
Can TESTOKI 40MG TABLET affect my bones?
TESTOKI 40MG TABLET can cause fast bone maturation, especially in male adolescents. Any male adolescent patient taking this medicine for delayed puberty should be checked for bone development every six months. If you have any more doubts regarding the use of this medicine, ask your doctor.
Can I take TESTOKI 40MG TABLET on an empty stomach?
Take TESTOKI 40MG TABLET as directed by your physician. Food allows the main ingredient of TESTOKI 40MG TABLET, to be taken up by your body, therefore, it must be taken with a meal to ensure adequate absorption.
What if I forget to take a dose of TESTOKI 40MG TABLET?
If you forget to take a dose of TESTOKI 40MG TABLET, take it as soon as you remember. However, omit the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not take the medicine twice to make up for a forgotten dose.
Do I need to take any tests during management with TESTOKI 40MG TABLET?
Your doctor will conduct blood tests at regular intervals to check the haemoglobin, testosterone blood level and will examine your prostate gland at regular intervals by digital rectal examination (DRE) and by conducting blood tests for prostate-specific antigen (PSA) since this medicine will increase the size of prostate gland.
How does TESTOKI 40MG TABLET work in men?
The main ingredient of TESTOKI 40MG TABLET is testosterone, which is produced by the testicles in men. It is required for the normal growth, development and working of the male sex organs and for secondary male sex characteristics. It is necessary for the body hair growth, bones and muscles development, fat distribution, stimulation of red blood cells production and deepening of men’s voices.
Does TESTOKI 40MG TABLET cause high blood pressure?
Yes. TESTOKI 40MG TABLET may cause increase in blood pressure. Symptoms include headaches, dizziness or blurred vision. You might need to measure your blood pressure at home. If you think your blood pressure is too high, contact your doctor.
