Introduction About TARSALIC SOAP
Tarsalic Soap is used in the co-management (management with two or more agents simultaneously) for psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, and dandruff to manage the itching, scaling, and flaking skin conditions. It contains Coal tar and Salicylic acid as active ingredients which help in removal of dead skin cells.
Coal tar works by decreasing the keratinocyte (type of skin cell which increases in diseased conditions) proliferation and slow down the growth of skin cells. Salicylic acid works by softening the scaly patches and causes shedding of the outer layer of the affected scalp region.
