    Introduction About TARSALIC OINMENT

Tarsalic Ointment is used in the management of skin conditions like psoriasis Vulgaris, neurodermatitis, hyper keratotic skin condition, cracked heals, and keratoderma. It contains Coal tar and Salicylic acid as active ingredients which help in the removal of dead skin cells.

Coal tar works by decreasing the keratinocyte (a type of skin cell which increases in diseased conditions) proliferation and slowing down the growth of skin cells. Salicylic acid works by softening the scaly patches and causes shedding of the outer layer of the affected scalp region.

Always use Tarsalic Ointment as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wash and dry the affected area. Apply for the medicine and gently massage it until it disappears. Wash your hands before and after use. Use it once or twice daily. It is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
