    Introduction About SOLVIN VAPOCAP

    SOLVIN VAPOCAP is a combination of Camphor, Chlorothymol, Eucalyptus Oil, Menthol, and Terpineol which belongs to the group of medicines called Antitussives, Antimicrobials, Expectorants, Nasal Decongestants, and Antibacterial agents respectively. It is used to relieve the blockage in the nasal passage and helps in better breathing.

    SOLVIN VAPOCAP is used to relieve nasal symptoms such as runny nose, itchy nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, and post-nasal drip. also manages cough, common cold, minor pain, and certain bacterial infections.

    SOLVIN VAPOCAP is also used to reduce skin itching after eczema. Eczema is a condition that occurs due to certain irritants or infectious agents and is characterized by inflammation, itching, cracking, and roughing of the skin.

    Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer), end-stage kidney disease, or if you are on haemodialysis. SOLVIN VAPOCAP is not recommended for use by pregnant, breastfeeding women and in children (aged below 3 years). SOLVIN VAPOCAP should be used cautiously in children (below 6 years).

    How SOLVIN VAPOCAP Works

    SOLVIN VAPOCAP contains camphor that inhibits cough by acting on certain receptors in the brainstem that controls the cough reflex. It also reduces inflammation by activating certain heat-sensitive receptors, providing relief from pain and inflammation.

    Chlorothymol works by inhibiting the growth and multiplication of infection-causing agents such as bacteria and viruses. Eucalyptus Oil works by suppressing the release of inflammation-causing agents. It also inhibits the secretion of mucous, reducing its viscosity, and accelerating the movement of mucus for its clearance.

    Menthol works by minimizing nasal congestion. It also provides a cooling effect, minimizing irritation. Terpineol works by killing or stopping the multiplication of bacteria causing infection.

    Take SOLVIN VAPOCAP as advised by your physician. It is for inhalational use only. Cut and open this medicine and pour the contents in hot water or on paper to take steam or smell.
