Introduction About SOLIWAX EAR DROPS
Soliwax Ear Drops is an ear wax softening agent, used in patients with impacted ear wax (stuffed up sensation, dulled hearing, and associated ear pain). It contains benzocaine, chlorbutol, paradichlorobenzene and turpentine oil as an active ingredients which dissolves ear wax and relieves ear discomfort.
Paradichlorobenzene is a hydrating agent which reduces the thickness of the earwax. Chlorbutol acts as a wax softener. Turpentine oil is a lubricating agent which facilitates easy removal of the wax from ear. Benzocaine acts as a local anaesthetic. Together, they relieve the earache promptly, exerting insecticidal, antibacterial, and anti-fungal actions simultaneously.
Always use Soliwax Ear Drops as advised by the physician. It is for external use only. Do not exceed the daily recommended dosage. Position the patient on their side with ear affected on upside and instil five to ten drops. Place a cotton plug and leave it there for 15 to 30 minutes. Utilize a cotton swab to remove the softened wax from the ear canal. Manage the other ear canal in the same way if it's also affected.
