Introduction About SOLINE 6 EYE OINTMENT
SOLINE 6 EYE OINTMENT contains Sodium chloride which belongs to the group of medicines called Electrolytes. It is used as a temporary agent for the relief of corneal oedema.
It works by drawing water from the swollen cornea (front surface of the eye). Water accumulation in the cornea can cause vision loss. It reduces water accumulation in cornea and thus gives temporary relief from corneal oedema and clears the vision.
Before using this medicine, inform your doctor if you are wearing soft contact lenses. No adequate information regarding the use of this medicine among pregnant and breast-feeding mothers. Consult your doctor before using the medicine.
It should be used with caution among children and elderly people. Consult your doctor before using it.
The most common side effects of using this medicine are temporary burning sensation and irritation of the eyes. Contact your doctor if any of the above symptoms worsen.
