Introduction About SMULAC SOLUTION
Smulac Solution is a laxative that is used to relieve constipation, also used to manage liver conditions such as hepatic encephalopathy (HE). It contains lactulose as an active ingredient, to alleviate constipation.
Lactulose works by drawing more water into the intestine, making the faeces softer and easier to pass. It also reduces the quantity of ammonia in the bloodstream by eliminating the toxin, which aids with cognitive function.
