Introduction About SMILOGEL CT GEL
SMILOGEL CT Gel is an analgesic, anaesthetic, and antiseptic pain-relieving gel used for painful conditions in the oral cavity, such as mouth ulcers, toothaches, and denture irritation. It contains choline salicylate, lignocaine hydrochloride, and benzalkonium chloride as active ingredients.
Choline salicylate relieves pain by inhibiting prostaglandin (chemicals that are responsible for pain) synthesis. Lignocaine is a local anaesthetic that works by blocking the transfer of pain signals along the nerves. Benzalkonium chloride is an antiseptic that helps fight bacteria.
Always apply SMILOGEL CT Gel as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Apply liberally to the affected irritated areas and ulcers in the mouth three times a day or as directed by your doctor.
