    Introduction About SERTASPOR CREAM

    SERTASPOR CREAM is a combination of Benzyl alcohol and Sertaconazole Nitrate which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungals. It is used in the management of athlete’s foot or interdigital tinea pedis (fungal infection between the toes) in adults and children 12 years of age and older with normal immune systems.

    Before applying SERTASPOR CREAM, inform your doctor if you have any allergies. It is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. Consult your doctor before applying it.

    SERTASPOR CREAM should be used during pregnancy only if clearly necessary. It should be used with caution in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before applying it.

    The most common side effects of applying SERTASPOR CREAM are contact dermatitis (skin rash), redness, itching, dry skin, burning, blistering, swelling, drainage and skin tenderness at the managed skin areas. Contact your physician if any of the symptoms worsen.

    How SERTASPOR CREAM Works

    SERTASPOR CREAM is an antifungal agent works by inhibiting the formation of fungal cell wall, which is essential for the survival of fungus, leading to death.

    How to use SERTASPOR CREAM

    Apply SERTASPOR CREAM as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Apply a thin layer of this medicine to the affected area between the toes and the immediately surrounding healthy skin and rub it gently into the skin. Wash your hands with soap and water after using SERTASPOR CREAM.

    Avoid applying this medicine to eyes, nose, mouth, lips, vagina and rectal area. Do not cover the managed areas of skin with occlusive dressings or wrappings unless directed by your physician.

    Avoid hot bath because hot water can irritate your skin further. Do not scratch the affected area. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing while going outside. Use unscented moisturizers to soothe and hydrate the affected area. Contact your doctor if your rashes worsen.
