Introduction About SERCOS VT TABLET
SERCOS VT TABLET contains Sertaconazole, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungal medicines. It is used in the management of vaginal candidiasis. Vaginal candidiasis is a condition with fungal infections of the vagina. The symptoms of fungal infection of the vagina include redness and itching sensation of the vagina, soreness, whitish vaginal discharge, difficulty urinating, experience pain during sexual intercourse etc.
Before taking this SERCOS VT TABLET inform your doctor if you have or had an allergic reaction to antifungal management or sertaconazole. SERCOS VT TABLET should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. The risks and benefits of SERCOS VT TABLET for use in children are not known. Consult your doctor before taking SERCOS VT TABLET.
The most common side effects of SERCOS VT TABLET include contact dermatitis, dryness and burning sensation of the skin, tenderness of the skin, redness, itching, hyperpigmentation etc. Consult your doctor immediately or visit a nearby hospital, if any of the symptoms worsen.

SERCOS VT TABLET works by managing fungi from developing their own necessary protective coating, which is necessary for their survival. As a result, it manages the fungal infection.
How to use SERCOS VT TABLET
Always take SERCOS VT TABLET as directed by your physician. You should wash and dry your vagina before use. Carefully insert the tablet inside the vagina as high as you can. Your doctor will decide the correct dose, duration and frequency for you depending on your age, body weight and other comorbid conditions etc.
