Introduction About SELSUN SUSPENSION
Selsun Suspension is an anti-dandruff shampoo used to manage dandruff. It is also used to manage tinea versicolor (fungal infection of skin). It contains Selenium sulfide as an active ingredient that helps to reduce itching, flaking, irritation, and redness in the scalp associated with dandruff.
Selenium sulfide is an anti-infective that works by decreasing the growth of fungus that causes the dandruff and tinea versicolor infection.
Always use Selsun Suspension exactly as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only. Shake well before use. Avoid contact with eyes. For dandruff: Wash your hair with a mild soap. Rinse and apply Selsun Suspension onto scalp, gently massage to form lather. Leave for 2-3 minutes. Rinse. Repeat the procedure and rinse thoroughly. Use twice weekly or as directed by the physician. Do not apply it on inflamed scalp. For tinea versicolor: Apply to the affected areas with water and rinse after 10 minutes. Use once daily for 7 days or as directed by your physician. Do not use it immediately after bleaching or tinting.
