SCAT EYE DROPS contains Sparfloxacin, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It manages bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal infections like keratitis, kerato-conjunctivitis and corneal ulcer caused by susceptible micro-organisms.
Sparfloxacin belongs to an antibiotic which works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This manages the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby working against them. Before the management, your doctor may want you to take several blood tests to understand your current condition.
