Introduction About SCABOMA LOTION
Scaboma Lotion is a topical lotion used for scabies and pediculosis in patients who cannot tolerate or have failed response to other approved managements. It contains Gamma Benzene Hexachloride as active ingredient.
Gamma Benzene Hexachloride works by against the infection causing parasites and their eggs. It enters through the outer layer and ova of the parasite and acts by disrupting the action of certain neurotransmitters like GABA-gated chloride channel which are necessary for the survival of parasites.
Always use Scaboma Lotion as advised by your physician. Shake well before use. Apply a thin layer of the lotion on the affected area. It should be washed off completely after 8 to 12 hours and do not reapply. Do not use if you are allergic to Gamma Benzene Hexachloride. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact, thoroughly flush the eyes with water.
