Introduction About SCABIGARD P LOTION
Scabigard P Lotion is a topical antiparasitic lotion used in the management of scabies. It contains permethrin as an active ingredient.
Permethrin is an anti-parasitic medicine which works against the parasites (itch mites, lice) that causes scabies and head lice. Scabigard P Lotion should be used only under careful medical supervision. It is for external use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Apply this lotion on the affected skin areas using a cotton pad and allow drying on the skin.
Avoid contact of this lotion with your eyes, ears, nose or mouth. In case of accidental contact, wash it off with plenty of water. Do not apply Scabigard P Lotion on open wounds, cuts or on damaged skin. Do not wash the affected skin areas with hot water. Reapply the lotion to the hands if they are washed within 8 hours of management. Do not apply Scabigard P Lotion if you are allergic to permethrin.
