Introduction About SALYTAR SOLUTION
Salytar Solution is a scalp lotion which helps to control scaling in seborrhea, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis of the scalp. It contains coal tar and salicylic acid as active ingredients to remove dead skin cells.
Coal tar works by decreasing the keratinocyte (type of skin cell which increases in diseased conditions) proliferation and slow down the growth of skin cells. Salicylic acid works by softening the scaly patches and causes shedding of the outer layer of the affected scalp region.
Always use Salytar Solution as advised by your physician. It is for external use only. Wet your hair, apply small quantity of solution and massage the solution into the wet scalp and hair. Rinse and re-apply, allowing the lather to sit for 5 minutes and rinse it with water thoroughly. For best results, use at least twice a week or as directed by the doctor. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse your eyes thoroughly with water. If irritation occurs, discontinue the use and consult your doctor immediately. Do not use for prolonged duration without consulting your doctor.
