    Description

The Romsons Scalp Vein Set GS-3004 is a medical device intended for venipuncture to administer intravenous fluids or medications, or for blood sampling. Also known as a butterfly or winged infusion set, it is designed for short-term use. The design incorporates a short, siliconized needle for smoother cannulation and is often utilized for patients with delicate or small veins, such as pediatric and geriatric individuals.

Atraumatic Cannulation: Features a short-beveled, siliconized needle designed to facilitate smoother vein penetration and minimize patient discomfort during insertion. Improved Flow Rate: The thin-wall needle construction allows for a better flow rate for the given gauge, contributing to efficient fluid delivery. Secure Handling: Butterfly-shaped wings provide a firm grip for easier handling and stable attachment to the skin. Easy Size Identification: The wings are color-coded for quick and straightforward identification of the needle gauge. Flexible Tubing: It is connected to a soft, non-toxic, and kink-resistant tube that ensures a consistent flow. Standard Connection: The proximal end is fitted with a female Luer fitting, allowing for a secure connection to IV lines or syringes.
