    2. Close the roller clamp on the feeding bag tubing.
    3. Pour the prescribed amount of formula into the feeding bag.

    5. Prime the tubing by slowly opening the roller clamp to let the formula run through, removing any air. Then, close the clamp.
    6. Connect the end of the feeding bag tubing to the patient's feeding tube.
    7. Slowly open the roller clamp to begin the feeding at the prescribed rate, adjusting as needed.
    8. After feeding is complete, flush the patient's tube with water as directed by your healthcare provider.
