Introduction About REFIL
Refil Tablet is a hematinic preparation which is used to manage or manage iron deficiency anaemia. It contains elemental iron that helps in haemoglobin synthesis.
Iron supplement works by directly increasing the iron stores in the body that play a vital role in building a component called “heme”, thereby enhancing the synthesis of haemoglobin (oxygen carrying pigment in blood) and myoglobin (oxygen carrying pigment in muscles), hence managing the iron deficiency in the body.
Always take Refil Tablet as advised by the doctor. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Do not take Refil Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines including prescription, over the counter medications, as well as vitamin or herbal supplements.
