Collect a fresh urine sample in a clean, dry container. 3. Dip the test strip into the urine, ensuring both test pads are fully immersed, for about 1-2 seconds. 4. Remove the strip and tap it gently on the rim of the container to remove excess urine. 5. Wait for the specified time (usually 1 minute for the nitrite result and 2 minutes for the leukocyte result). 6. Compare the color of the test pads with the color chart provided on the pouch to interpret the results. Do not read results after 5 minutes.
