While taking RAMISAVE CH 10MG CAPSULE, avoid drinking alcohol or going for a low-salt diet, as they may make further reduce your blood pressure. Consult your doctor for the best diet that can suit your health condition.

Uses Of RAMISAVE CH 10MG CAPSULE

    It is used to:

How RAMISAVE CH 10MG CAPSULE Works

RAMISAVE CH 10MG CAPSULE contains two medicines namely chlorthalidone and ramipril. Chlorthalidone works by removing the excess fluids and electrolytes (sodium and water) from the body. This helps in reducing fluid retention (edema) from the body. It also reduces the thickness of the blood, which may help the heart to pump blood more smoothly across the body.

Ramipril causes relaxation of the blood vessels supplying the heart, kidneys and other parts of the body. It works by blocking the actions of certain enzymes (angiotensin-converting enzyme) in the body that causes narrowing of blood vessels and increase in blood pressure. Collectively, these actions improve blood flow, reduces the strain on the heart and helps the heart to pump more blood with less pressure.
