    Introduction About RAIKI EYE DROPS

RAIKI EYE DROPS contains Netarsudil, which belongs to the group of medicines known as Rho Kinase Inhibitor. RAIKI EYE DROPS is indicated for reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in adult patients with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

Primary open-angle glaucoma is a type of glaucoma that develops over a period of time due to clogging of drainage channels of the eye. Glaucoma is an irreversible and progressive condition in which the optic nerve gets damaged due to several reasons, such as increased pressure caused by fluid buildup in the front region of the eye. Ocular hypertension can be defined as high intraocular (inside the eye) pressure due to disturbance in balance between production and outflow of aqueous humour (fluid inside the eye).

Inform your doctor before using RAIKI EYE DROPS if you have trauma to the eye, planned eye surgery, dry eyes, concurrent eye disease, or if you have ocular epithelial surface disruption, as the risk of bacterial keratitis (bacterial infection of the outer layer of the eye) is increased in such cases.

RAIKI EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless clearly necessary. Consult your doctor before using. RAIKI EYE DROPS should be used with caution in breast-feeding women. Consult your doctor before using it.

RAIKI EYE DROPS is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. Consult your doctor before using it.

If you wear contact lenses, they should be removed prior to instillation of this medicine and can be reinserted 15 minutes following its administration.

RAIKI EYE DROPS may cause some side effects such as conjunctival hyperaemia (dilation of vessels of conjunctiva due to inflammation), corneal verticillate (condition in which corneal deposits form a faint golden-brown whorl pattern), conjunctival haemorrhage, instillation site pain, and erythema. Consult your doctor immediately in case any of the above side effects worsen.

    Uses Of RAIKI EYE DROPS

    • Used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in adult patients with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension

    How RAIKI EYE DROPS Works

RAIKI EYE DROPS is a rho kinase inhibitor that works by reducing intraocular pressure (IOP) by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour (transparent fluid in the eye, which is important for maintaining pressure inside the eye and nourishment of our natural lens) through relaxation of the trabecular meshwork.

How to use RAIKI EYE DROPS

Instil RAIKI EYE DROPS into the affected eye as directed by your doctor. RAIKI EYE DROPS is for ophthalmic use only. Do not inject or swallow the medicine. Wash your hands before using and avoid touching the nozzle or dropper while using the medicine, as it may contaminate the medicine.

Your doctor will decide the exact dose and duration according to your disease condition, body weight, and age. The tip of the dispensing container should avoid contacting the eye, surrounding structures, fingers, or any other surface to avoid contamination of the solution.
