Introduction About PYRITEC 500 TABLET
PYRITEC 500 Tablet belongs to antipyretics and analgesics agents used to relieve mild to moderate pain in conditions such as body ache, osteoarthritis, dysmenorrhoea, tooth pain and sports injury. It is also used to manage mild to moderate fever. It contains Paracetamol as active ingredient.
Paracetamol works by inhibiting the production of a chemical called prostaglandins in the body, which are responsible for causing pain and swelling in the body. As a result, it reduces various pain. It also has a direct action on heat regulating centres in the brain, leading to peripheral vasodilation, sweating and loss of body temperature. Thus, it reduces fever.
Take PYRITEC 500 Tablet exactly as advised by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose. The recommended daily dose is one tablet 2-3 times daily or as directed by the physician. Do not take this medicine more than 3 days without medical advice. PYRITEC 500 Tablet is not suitable for children and adolescents under 12 years of age. Contact your doctor for advice.
