Introduction About PYRICALM SYRUP
PYRICALM Syrup is an analgesic and antipyretic used to reduce high fever, relieve symptoms of the cold and flu, and manage mild to moderate pain in pediatric patients. It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient.
Paracetamol relieves pain by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis of chemicals (prostaglandins) responsible for inducing pain. It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating center in the brain, resulting in blood vessel relaxation, sweating, and the loss of body heat.
Always give PYRICALM Syrup to your child as advised by your doctor. It is for oral use only. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Inform your doctor if your child has liver or kidney disorders.
