PREGABID 75MG ORAL SOLUTION is used to manage peripheral and central neuropathic pain, epilepsy and generalised anxiety disorder. It is also used as an adjunctive therapy in adults with partial seizures with or without secondary generalization. It contains Pregabalin which belongs to the group of medicines called Anticonvulsants.
Before taking PREGABID 75MG ORAL SOLUTION inform your doctor if you have or had any lung, liver, kidney, or heart problems. You must also inform your doctor before taking the medicine if you have diabetes, any other nerve or brain disorders or if you have a history of drug abuse. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking the medicine as it may make you feel dizzier which can eventually lead to an increased risk of injuries, falls or accidents. PREGABID 75MG ORAL SOLUTION should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless you are told otherwise by your doctor.
PREGABID 75MG ORAL SOLUTION should be used with extreme caution in elderly patients (aged above 65 years) particularly in those who have kidney problems. It may alter the blood sugar levels, therefore regularly check your blood sugar levels as a precaution. The most common side are dizziness, drowsiness, headache, dry mouth or blurred vision. Contact your doctor if any of these side effects worsen.

It acts as a specific analgesic for peripheral and central neuropathic pain by blocking the transmission of pain signals across the nervous system. It relieves anxiety by reducing the release of certain brain chemicals (GABA) that causes abnormal mood stimulation and anxiety.
