Introduction About POVINANZ 10% SOLUTION
Povinanz Solution is a microbicidal solution used for preparation of skin and mucous membrane including vagina prior to surgery, manages and manage infections in wounds, burn wounds of 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, cuts and abrasion including post-operative dressings. Also, it helps to manage moniliasis, trichomoniasis or non-specific vaginosis. It contains povidone iodine as an active ingredient to decrease the risk of infection by killing the micro-organisms at the site of application.
Povidone-iodine inhibits the synthesis of various cellular mechanisms of bacteria that lead to their death. Also, it exhibits anti-inflammatory reactions that counteracts inflammation associated with pathogens and host response.
Always use Povinanz Solution as advised by your doctor. It is for external use only and shake well before use. Clean the affected area and apply a small amount of solution to the affected area. The area may be left uncovered or you may cover with a sterile bandage.
