Introduction About PIONEW OINTMENT
PIONEW Ointment is an antiseptic ointment used to manage skin infections from minor cuts, wounds, scraps and burns. It contains povidone-iodine as the active ingredient.
Povidone-Iodine is an antimicrobial agent. It rapidly penetrates the cell wall of the microorganisms and disrupts their cell structure, leading to cell death. Therefore, it manages the infection from spreading further and helps in faster healing.
Use PIONEW Ointment as directed by your physician. It is for external use only. Gently apply the desired amount of the ointment on the wound areas. Before using PIONEW Ointment consult your doctor if you have thyroid problems or any other skin conditions as a precaution.
