Description
The Pigeon Flexible Slim Neck Peristaltic Nipple is designed to facilitate a baby's natural sucking motion, learned during breastfeeding. This S-size nipple with a round hole is specifically created for newborns aged 0 months and older, providing a slow and gradual milk flow. Made from soft, durable silicone, the nipple is designed to be flexible and stretchable, responding to the baby's peristaltic tongue movements. This can aid in a smoother transition between breast and bottle feeding.
Peristaltic Nipple Design: The nipple features a flexible, accordion-like section that stretches in response to the baby's peristaltic tongue movement, mimicking the natural motion of breastfeeding. Ultra-Soft Silicone: Crafted from a very soft, thick silicone rubber, the nipple has an elasticity similar to a mother's breast, ensuring it is gentle on a newborn's delicate gums without collapsing easily. Air Ventilation System (AVS™): A built-in vent reduces the intake of gas, which is a potential cause of colic, by allowing air to enter the bottle instead of the baby's stomach. Slim Neck with Round Hole: The S-size, slim-neck design is suitable for newborns and features a round-cut hole that allows milk to flow gradually and consistently. BPA and BPS Free: The nipple is made from food-grade silicone and is free from BPA and BPS, ensuring a safe feeding experience for the baby.

Q: How does the peristaltic design help the baby?

Q: Is this nipple compatible with all Pigeon bottles?
A: This is a slim-neck nipple and is designed to be used with Pigeon's slim-neck bottles. It is advisable to use Pigeon slim nipples only on Pigeon's narrow bottles to ensure a proper fit.

A: Immediately after each use, rinse the nipples in warm water and wash them with a liquid cleanser suitable for nursing products. They can be sterilized by boiling for 5 minutes, or by using a chemical or steam sterilizer. When cleaning, be gentle and avoid using abrasive brushes on the delicate nipple tip.
