    Introduction About PICICLIB 125 CAPSULE

PICICLIB 125 CAPSULE contains Palbociclib which belongs to the group of medicines called Kinase inhibitors. It is used to manage men and women with certain types of breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative) which have spread beyond the original tumour or to other organs. Also, for women, it is given together with aromatase inhibitors or flustering who have received prior endocrine therapy.

In pre- or perimenopausal women, endocrine therapy should be combined with a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonist. Breast cancer is defined as a malignancy (abnormal cells divide without control and can invade nearby tissues) originating from breast tissue, with symptoms like a painless lump and swelling, redness, warmth, and hardening of the skin.

Before taking PICICLIB 125 CAPSULE, inform your doctor if you have liver, lung, heart, or kidney problems. PICICLIB 125 CAPSULE is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding; therefore, consult your doctor before taking it. PICICLIB 125 CAPSULE is not recommended in children and adolescents (below the age of 18 years).

The most common side effects of taking PICICLIB 125 CAPSULE are infections, tiredness, rash, hair loss, decreased appetite, inflammation of the mouth and lips, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, weakness, fever, and dry skin. Contact your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse or persist.
