Introduction About PARACIP DROPS
Paracip Drops is used to relieve pain and fever by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for fever and pain in children. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient.
Paracetamol exhibits the central analgesic action by inhibiting various pathways that are involved in activating the pain mechanism and by the suppressing the synthesis of pain causing chemicals (prostaglandins) at the affected site. It also exhibits the antipyretic action by directly acting on the heat-regulating centres present in the brain, causing sweating and reduce body heat.
Administer 10 to 20 drops (approx 0.5 to 1.0 ml) of Paracip Drops every 4 to 6 hours or as advised by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Shake well before use. It is for oral and paediatric use only. Do not give if your child is allergic to paracetamol.
