Introduction About PARACIP
Paracip Syrup is an Anti-pyretic and Analgesic syrup that is used to relieve pain, fever, and other symptoms. It is used to manage mild to moderate pain due to the common cold, influenza, backache, headache, earache, muscle pain, sore throat, teething, and toothache.
It is also used to reduce fever, including post-vaccination fever. Paracip Syrup contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient which reduces pain by elevation of the pain threshold.
Paracetamol inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins (chemicals that cause inflammation, pain, and fever) which helps in reducing pain. It acts on temperature regulating centres in the brain which aids in reducing fever.
Always give Paracip Syrup exactly as advised by your doctor. It is for paediatric use only. Shake well before use. Do not take more than four doses in a 24-hour period. Do not repeat doses more frequently than 4 hourly. Do not give Paracip Syrup more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
It is not recommended to use Paracip Syrup in patients with severe or active hepatic impairment. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage of Paracip Syrup. It should not be given with any other paracetamol-containing products.
