    Introduction About PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE is a combination of Itopride and Pantoprazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Gastrokinetic agent and Proton pump inhibitors. It is used in the management of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease when monotherapy alone is not enough for some patients. PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE also manages Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and stomach and duodenal ulcers.

    Along with PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE your doctor might want you to make some lifestyle changes such as having a balanced diet and exercising.

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in patients having gastrointestinal haemorrhage, obstruction, or perforation. Consult your doctor before taking.

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in patients having severe liver disease, osteoporosis, cancer. PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in pregnant women and is contraindicated in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking.

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in children and adolescents below 12 years of age. Consult your doctor before taking.

    The most common side effects of using PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE are headache, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, joint pain, diarrhoea and dizziness. Contact your doctor if any of these side effects worsen or doesn’t improve.

    It is used to manage:

    • gastroesophageal reflux disease
    • stomach and duodenal ulcers
    • Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

    How PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE Works

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE is a combination of Itopride and Pantoprazole where Itopride acts by increasing the movement (peristalsis) in the gastrointestinal tract and Pantoprazole works by stopping the production of acid by inhibiting certain enzymes (H+/K+ ATPase) at the surface of the cells present in the gastric lining.

    How to use PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE

    Take this medicine as advised by your doctor. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water as a whole and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will prescribe the right dose depending on your age, body weight and disease condition.

    Side Effects Of PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE

    Common

    • headache
    • nausea
    • vomiting
    • flatulence
    • joint pain
    • diarrhoea
    • dizziness

    How To Manage Side Effects

    Nausea or Vomiting:

    Take this medicine with, or just after meals. Stick to simple meals. Avoid eating rich or spicy food. Drink clear or ice-cold drinks, eat light, bland foods and avoid fried, oily, or sweet foods.

    Headache:

    Try to rest and relax. Do not involve yourself in rigorous activities. Apply a pain-relieving balm on your forehead.

    Diarrhea:

    Drink lots of fluids, such as water or fruit juice to keep yourself hydrated. Do not consume any medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE should be used with caution in pregnant women. Consult your doctor before taking it.

    Breastfeeding

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor before taking it.

    Driving and Using Machines

    Do not drive or use machinery if you feel dizziness and disturbed vision after taking PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE.

    Liver

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE should be taken with caution in patients having severe liver diseases. Consult your doctor before taking.

    Allergy

    Do not take PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE if you are allergic to Itopride, Pantoprazole or any other ingredients of this medicine.

    Others

    PANPLUS IT 40/150MG CAPSULE is not recommended for use if you:

    • have gastrointestinal haemorrhage, obstruction or perforation
