Introduction About P 125MG DROPS
P-125 Drops is an antipyretic and analgesic medicine which is indicated in children to relieve mild to moderate pain in conditions such as headache, tooth ache, muscle pain, sore throat, migraine, and musculoskeletal pain.
P-125 Drops can also be used as an adjunct in the management of cold and flu and for fever associated with vaccination. It contains paracetamol as an active ingredient which is used to manage a wide range of painful conditions and fever.
Paracetamol relieves pain by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins (chemicals responsible for causing pain and swelling in the body). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat regulating centres in the brain, leading to relaxation of blood vessels, sweating and lowering of body temperature.
Always take P-125 Drops as advised by your doctor. It should be used with caution in patients having kidney or liver dysfunction, diabetes, hyperthyroidism (increased levels of thyroid hormone), heart disorders, fits and closed angle glaucoma (eye disease caused due to increased pressure inside the eyes).
P-125 Drops is not recommended for children below 2 years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Ask your doctor before taking it during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
