ORS Prolyte Orange Powder is used to restore body fluids and electrolytes and maintain hydration during diarrhea, vomiting, and other conditions where water and electrolytes are lost. It contains electrolytes like Sodium chloride, Potassium chloride, Sodium citrate and Anhydrous dextrose that aid in maintaining normal fluid balance in the body.
Anhydrous dextrose commonly called glucose, replenishes lost nutrients and electrolytes and provides metabolic energy. Sodium chloride plays an important role in regulating fluid balance in the body. It is used to manage or manage sodium loss caused by dehydration, excessive sweating, or any other causes.
Potassium chloride helps to maintain and regulate the function of the heart, muscles, kidneys, bones, body fluid balance and nerves, etc. Sodium citrate works by neutralizing excess acid in the blood and urine. It also manages metabolic acidosis.
