OROGARD MOUTH PAINT contains Clotrimazole which belongs to the group of medicines called Antifungals. It is used in the management of oral candidiasis or thrush. These infections are caused by yeast-like fungi called Candida. oral candidiasis or thrush is a fungal infection which is caused by the accumulation of the fungus in the mouth region affecting the mouth, tongue and regions around it.
OROGARD MOUTH PAINT is not recommended for use in patients allergic to clotrimazole. OROGARD MOUTH PAINT should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases. OROGARD MOUTH PAINT should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women and children above three years of age. Consult your doctor before applying it.
Before taking OROGARD MOUTH PAINT inform your doctor if you’re under any medications. The common side effects of OROGARD MOUTH PAINT are abnormal liver functioning, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, itching and abnormal taste. Consult your doctor if any of your symptoms get worse.

OROGARD MOUTH PAINT works by managing the fungus' growth. Clotrimazole works by blocking the production of enzymes responsible for the growth of fungal cells. This inhibition results in the breakage of cell membranes and fungal cell abnormalities, finally leading to alterations in the membrane-based activity of fungus. It further manages the occurrence of fungal infections. These lead to fungal cell death and the management of further fungal growth.
How to use OROGARD MOUTH PAINT
Always use OROGARD MOUTH PAINT as directed by your physician. If you are using any dentures remove them before applying OROGARD MOUTH PAINT. OROGARD MOUTH PAINT is meant to manage oral fungal infections only and so should not be used for infections of other organs.

How To Manage Side Effects

Indigestion
Eat smaller and more frequent meals. Eat and drink slowly, and exercise regularly. Eat slowly, and avoid drinking through a straw. Use lactose-free dairy products if you are lactose intolerant. Probiotics may also help with repopulating healthy gut bacteria. If the symptom does not improve, contact your doctor.

Nausea And Vomiting
Drink clear or ice-cold drinks. Eat light, bland foods. Avoid fried, greasy, or sweet foods. Eat slowly and eat smaller, more frequent meals, drink gradually larger amounts of clear liquids, avoid solid food until the vomiting episode has passed, and take rest. If the symptom does not improve, contact your doctor.
