Introduction About OROFER CAPSULE
Orofer Capsule is a Nutritional Supplement which is used in the management of iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy, lactation, and in anemia which is due to post-partum haemorrhage. It is also used in the management of iron deficiency anemia. It contains Iron 3 polymaltose complex and Folic acid as active ingredients which provides iron to manage deficiency states.
Iron 3 polymaltose complex provides iron which is required for the formation of blood pigment Haemoglobin. Folic acid is required during pregnancy as it manages neural tube defects in unborn babies, anaemia, and premature birth and is associated with various physiological processes.
Take Orofer Capsule as directed by your doctor or take it twice daily. Do not take Orofer Capsule in case you are suffering from iron storage disease, haemolytic anaemia, iron utilization disturbances (lead anaemia, sideroblastic anaemia, thalassemia), pernicious anaemia, or hereditary disorders such as galactose intolerance, total lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Before taking Orofer Capsule inform your doctor in case you are undergoing repeated blood transfusions. Avoid taking milk, high-fibre foods, tea, or coffee within 2 hours of taking Orofer Capsule. Orofer capsule are recommended for children and adolescents above 12 years of age. The most common side effects are black tarry stools, constipation, diarrhoea, and stomach upset. Consult your doctor immediately in case any of the side effects worsen or you experience an allergic reaction after taking Orofer Capsule.
