    ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE is a combination of Chlorhexidine, Sodium fluoride and Zinc chloride which belongs to the group of medicines called Disinfectants and Topical Anti-infective agents respectively. It is used to manage gingivitis. It also maintains oral hygiene, inhibits formation of dental plague, manages recurrent oral ulceration, manages denture stomatitis and thrush.

    Gingivitis is an inflammatory gum disease caused by bacteria which causes irritation, redness and swelling of the gums. Oral mucositis is a swelling of the tissues in the mouth. Before using ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE inform your doctor if you have any kidney, liver, heart or lung disease. ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE should not be used in children and adolescents below 12 years of age unless prescribed by the doctor.

    ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE is safe to use in pregnant and breast-feeding women, however, consult with your doctor before using. The most common side effects of using ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE are tongue discoloration, irritation or burning sensation in the mouth, reversible brown staining of the teeth. Consult your doctor’s advice if any of these worsen or doesn’t improve.

    ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE helps in managing gingivitis and maintaining oral hygiene where Chlorhexidine is an antimicrobial agent which manages the formation of plaque by acting on the microbes present on the tooth surface and destroying them. Sodium fluoride is a cariostatic agent which destroys bacteria that cause dental caries and remineralises the teeth. Zinc chloride acts on the odour causing bacteria in the moth and stops the release of gas (H2S) which causes bad breath.

    How to use ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE

    Use ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE as directed by your doctor. It is for external use only, do not swallow. Shake well before use. Swish ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE in the mouth for one minute. Do not wash mouth, eat or drink for 20 minutes after using it. Your doctor will prescribe you the correct dose and duration of ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE depending on your age, weight and health condition.

    B. Drug-Food Interactions:

    After using the ORAHEX PLUS SUGAR FREE SPEARMINT FLAVOUR ORAL RINSE avoid drinking tea, coffee for at least 1 hour. Its use can cause teeth stains.
