Introduction About OPTIMOL 250MG ORAL SUSPENSION
OPTIMOL 250mg Oral suspension is used to relieve mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, sore throat and helps to reduce fever (high body temperature) in children. It contains Paracetamol as an active ingredient that reduces fever and pain.
Paracetamol relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centres in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating and loss of body heat.
Give OPTIMOL 250mg Oral suspension to your child as advised by the doctor. It is for paediatric use. Shake well before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. Use a measuring cup to properly measure the dose. Do not give OPTIMOL 250mg Oral suspension to your child if your child is allergic to paracetamol.
